Then have you ever thought about meeting through high quality Social Events for Singles or through individually tailored Personal Introductions? Online Dating has been extraordinarily popular over the last years and it has transformed the way people meet and date in the UK. We feel that checking out that vital chemistry upfront is very important to see if there is a spark there right at the start of the process and therefore avoiding dozens and maybe hundreds of messages and emails going backwards and forwards, only for it to be a complete disappointment when you do meet. Meeting through high quality, well planned and impeccably run dating events can therefore offer significant advantages and that is why our range of face to face events have been extremely popular over the last decade. During that tie we have run more than 5, events around the country with more than , participants and Hull and East Yorkshire remains extremely important to us as a location for the future too. Our sister company Matchmakers Dating Ltd, compliments our events service by offering high end Personal Introductions, usually for higher net worth and executive individuals who are often too busy to find that special someone.

This innovative campaign by the East Yorkshire charity, Take One Moment TOM Foundation, takes the format of a speed dating session, aimed at raising the awareness of young people as to the dangers and consequences of reckless driving, and events will take place in educational establishments in the East Riding. During the event, young people will listen to the personal experiences of representatives from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service to find out about the consequences of driving dangerously and to get tips on how to stay safer on the roads.
Then, just like in a real speed dating event, the whistle blows, and the groups of students move around the room until they have visited every zone. We have had the pleasure of supporting these events over the past two years, with extremely positive feedback throughout, so I am really pleased that the TOM Foundation now has the opportunity to cascade these very worthwhile events out into East Riding.

During the Second World War the town and beach was heavily fortified against invasion.
Hornsea Pottery was established in Hornsea c. Modern Hornsea still functions as a coastal resort, and has large caravan sites to the north and south. The parish is bounded by the civil parishes of Atwick to the north, Seaton to the west, Hatfield and Mappleton to the south, and by the North Sea to the east. The civil parish contains the coastal town of Hornsea, and a suburb of “Hornsea Bridge” or “Hornsea Burton” south of the former railway line, [note 1] as well as Hornsea Mere. Excluding the town and its suburbs there are no other habitations of note in the parish, except some farms.
